Quick fixes.

Choose the issue that sounds closest. Most problems take less than a minute to resolve.

01No readable text

Select the passage you want, then open ReadAloud AI and press play again. Browser settings pages and the Chrome Web Store cannot be read by extensions.

Try selecting a paragraph first

02Narration works, but highlighting stopped

Some canvas-based or highly dynamic pages do not expose matching text nodes. Narration continues safely. Try selecting the passage or reloading the page.

Audio will keep playing safely

03The cloud voice is slow to start

ReadAloud AI times out stalled requests, retries once and can switch to a Browser/System voice automatically. Check that fallback is enabled.

04No system voices appear

Voice lists sometimes load after the panel. Wait a moment and reopen the voice control. Installing an operating-system voice can add more local choices.

05The controls disappeared

Open ReadAloud AI from the toolbar again or use the browser side panel. Playback state is kept for the current browser session.

06The wrong words are spoken

Send the page address, the exact sentence, chosen voice and what you heard. Do not include private page content you are not comfortable sharing.

We especially welcome experiences involving narration, keyboard control, zoom, contrast, screen readers or read-along highlighting. Describe the barrier in your own words.

Do not publish exploit details or send sensitive page content. Mark security messages clearly and read the privacy policy for the exact data flow.
